Join Local History & Genealogy staff for a walking tour from Main Library to the Ohio Statehouse. Learn about Columbus' downtown buildings and history along the way and tour the Statehouse.

Explore the rich history of Columbus’ neighborhoods with Librarians from our Local History & Genealogy division. Meet staff in the Atrium and walk with librarians to and from the Ohio Statehouse. Statehouse staff will provide guided interior tours and librarians will present on the walk to and from the Statehouse. Water and light snacks will be provided. Remember your sunscreen, hats and sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes! This tour involves walking outside the library. Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for weather, and please note that all Statehouse visitors are required to check in with security as we enter.
