The goal of this workshop is to explore the core skills of parenting necessary to help children grow and thrive emotionally. Using the core skills of parenting can help you connect with your child around their current experience which likely looks very different from your own. Parental pressure around academics, athletics and social expectations can have a direct impact on anxiety and depression and disrupts the connections teens desperately need. We will learn how to engage and support children in ways that help maintain healthy, open emotional connections.
Join Child and Family Therapists in a conversation about helping your child navigate their world in a way that promotes a culture of inclusiveness, kindness, acceptance, and respect.
