Who Are You Talking To?
Thursday, September 03
6:30pm - 8:00pm
Main Library
Meeting Room 3ASmall businesses and nonprofits are invited to join us for a practical lab focused on identifying a key audience and creating clear messaging, just for them.
Most businesses and nonprofits struggle not with what they do, but with how to talk about it clearly. In this hands-on workshop, participants will identify a real audience they serve and craft a simple, compelling message that speaks directly to that group. Through guided prompts and peer feedback, they’ll turn jargon-heavy descriptions into language their audience actually understands and cares about. Attendees will leave with a short positioning statement they can use on a website, flyer, email, or pitch and a framework they can revisit as their organization grows.
