An Exploration of Emotions and Color through Jazz Music is a unique program designed for students in grades 3-8, blending Social Emotional Learning (SEL), jazz music, film, collaborative abstract arts, and artist interaction. This initiative aims to foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence among young learners. The program has been implemented in select Columbus City Schools, receiving positive feedback from educators and students alike.
Exploration is an award-winning 16-minute documentary that examines the power of jazz and collaborative art to foster emotional wellness, healing, and community connection. The film has been recognized for its impactful storytelling, highlighting how jazz serves as a catalyst for personal and communal transformation.
