LASC can provide free legal advice and representation to eligible businesses and nonprofits on topics including:
Eligibility for free legal services for nonprofits is determined on a case-by-case basis by the Community Economic Development team at LASC. A number of factors are considered, including:
*Ability of the organization to pay for legal services
*Income of the members of the organization
*Who the organization serves
Eligibility for free legal services for businesses is generally determined based on income. If a business or nonprofit does not qualify for free services, referrals will be made to other legal resources.
