We'll welcome keynote speaker Chief Glenna Wallace to share her journey to reconnect the citizens of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma back to their historical homelands. Attend sessions and roundtables to learn research tips and bring your genealogy research questions to get help from Main Library’s Local History & Genealogy staff.
Also, bring in items from your own family history to be scanned into our digital archives and take a tour of the Local History & Genealogy space and Digital Lab.

Hear from Chief Wallace, the first female chief of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, about her journey to reconnect the citizens of her tribe back to their historical homelands in Ohio. Chief Wallace discusses the story of Indian Removal through current efforts to preserve earthworks and cemeteries in Ohio.
