COTA offers half-price fares to eligible customers who have receive income assistance in the last 12 months. Customers must bring proof of participation to one of the programs to claim the discount.
To meet COTA customers where they are in life, COTA developed the Income Assistance Program. Through this program, COTA offers half-price fares to eligible customers who receive income assistance. If you have participated in any of the following programs in the last 12 months, then you could be eligible for discount fares: SNAP food assistance; Publicly funded childcare; Ohio Works First cash assistance; Prevention, Retention and Contingency emergency assistance; Medicaid; Temporary Assistance to Needy Families; Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). COTA will sign up customers. Customers must bring proof of participation to one of the above programs to claim the discount.
