ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Robert Liu-Trujillo is an author and illustrator from Oakland California. He has been an artist most of his life. He started working professionally in the early 2000’s and has worked in murals, public art, arts education, merchandise making, illustration, and kid book publishing. Dia Mixon is a teacher and award-winning children’s book author. She self-published her debut book, One Whole Me, in 2021, and released her second book, When I Feel at Home in 2022. These stories celebrate cultural diversity and empower readers to embrace their individuality. Her most recent publication, The World That I See: Europe, invites readers to explore the world through the eyes of a neurodivergent child. Dia teaches high school Spanish and enjoys going on new adventures with her son. They reside in her hometown, Columbus, Ohio. Learn more here.
