To Move or Not to Move? That Is the Question! Discuss the pros and cons of various housing options as we age to help make the best decision for ourselves.
As we age, our housing needs and wishes may change. Do we modify a home we love or move somewhere more manageable for older adults? Those exhausted by yard work and snow shoveling could find a condominium or apartment viable. Others may move closer to adult children and grandchildren. The loss of a spouse or serious health issues might influence relocating to a community with more interaction and support, such as an independent assisted living situation. There are multiple possibilities. One size does not fit all. Let’s discuss the pros and cons of various housing options as we age to help make the best decision for ourselves.
Betsy Smalley (retired social worker, Clintonville resident, and member of Village in the Ville) will facilitate this group discussion.
