Join us to celebrate the centenary of the Marcus Garvey Parade that took place on Mt. Vernon Avenue on September 25, 1923. Professor Mark Christian, grandson of the parade’s organizer, will share the story of this historic event that Aminah Robinson memorialized in her Blackberry Patch mural that is displayed on the stairs at the Main Library.
