Learn how to get started researching your family history. This virtual genealogy class for beginners will cover research techniques and tips, and demonstrate how to use online resources such as Ancestry and Family Search. Following the introduction, Megan Buskey, author of Ukraine Is Not Dead Yet: A Family Story of Exile and Return (ibidem, 2023), will speak about her experience researching her Ukrainian family history in archives in the United States, Ukraine, and other parts of Europe. Class facilitated by Columbus Metropolitan Library's Local History and Genealogy division.
