ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Kirk Wallace Johnson is the author of The Feather Thief: Beauty, Obsession, and the Natural History Heist of the Century, and To Be a Friend is Fatal: the Fight to Save the Iraqis America Left Behind. He is also the founder of the List Project to Resettle Iraqi Allies. His newest book, The Fishermen and the Dragon, will be published August of 2022. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and Foreign Policy, among others.

Free parking available in Main Library's attached garage. The Library opens at 1 p.m. The Siemer Family Reading Room opens at 1 p.m. for seating, and the program will begin at 2 p.m.
A Friends of the Library book sale and author signing will follow.
