History of Baseball in Columbus

The Columbus Clippers have entertained Franklin County baseball fans since 1977, but the sport’s rich history in the city goes back much further than that. With a display of baseball memorabilia and artifacts from the organization’s archives, Clippers Director of Media Relations Chris Sprague will prepare attendees for Opening Day with a discussion of historical teams, players, and stadiums that have made their mark on Columbus.
