Join Local History & Genealogy staff to learn how girls and women of the 1800s lived, in Columbus and beyond.
The Columbus Metropolitan Library's Local History & Genealogy division are experts on the past and are ready to help scouts learn how girls and women of the 1800s lived, in Columbus and beyond. We'll play parlor games like the Victorians, learn the language of folded fans (and decorate our own!), explore period recipes, and practice our correspondence skills. Girls will complete all badge requirements for the 'Playing the Past' badge and receive their badge at the end of the program.
Scouts should register through the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland for this program.
