Join the Local History & Genealogy division of the Columbus Metropolitan Library to learn about families!

Join the Local History & Genealogy division of the Columbus Metropolitan Library to learn about families! We’ll read two stories: Families by Shelley Rotner & Sheila M. Kelly and A Family Is a Family Is a Family by Sara O’Leary, then we’ll discuss how families can be big or small, can include biological family, chosen family, friends, teachers, neighbors, and even pets! Scouts will share their family story, whatever that looks like to them through art and illustration. The activities fulfill the Brownie 'My Family Story' badge and scouts will leave with their badge. Girls should bring a photo of a person/people that they consider to be family, to share with the group.
