In this six-week series, small businesses will be equipped with the foundational knowledge to start a small business.
In this six-week program, new or aspiring small business owners will learn how to create a simple business model, complete a business plan and pitch their business to potential customers. Each participant will have the opportunity to attend six specialized classes and to meet one-on-one with small business advisors. Participants will complete the series with a personalized action plan and connections to community organizations for additional support.
The program will be held at Main Library beginning in March, at the Hilltop Branch beginning in May and at the Karl Road Branch, beginning in September.
Classes for the second series, held at the Hilltop Branch, will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings: May 21, May 28, June 4, June 11, June 18 & June 25.
Seats are limited. All participants must complete registration which contains an application for the program by May 17.
All applicants will receive an email regarding their application from business@columbuslibrary.org. A waitlist will be maintained if the course becomes full.
